Sabrina-Marie is an award-winning broadcaster, best-selling author, leadership expert, and nationally recognized disability rights activist whose career bridges civil rights, media, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment. Her groundbreaking work has been recognized by members of Congress and the White House for advancing equity, leadership, and inclusion across the public and private sectors.
She began her media career covering national commemorative and historic events featuring civil rights icons including Congressman John Lewis, Representative John Conyers, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Ambassador Andrew Young, Senator & President Barack Obama, Martin Luther King III, and C. Dolores Tucker—work that linked the legacy of the Civil Rights era to the leadership of a new generation.
Mentored by Dr. Sylvia Walker of Howard University—the first Black woman appointed by a U.S. president and a pioneer in disability rights—Sabrina-Marie was inspired to champion opportunity and inclusion for people with disabilities and communities of color. In her teens, she founded H.E.A.R.T. Inc. (Helping to Encourage Abilities Recognizing Talents), a leadership and empowerment initiative and honored nationally through the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) Leadership Award.
Sabrina-Marie is the creator and host of “Building Abundant Success!! with Sabrina-Marie,” a global platform on iHeartRadio, Amazon, and Audible that features Grammy, Emmy, Oscar, Tony, Peabody, and Pulitzer Prize winners; Olympians; bestselling authors; Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees; and leaders in business, government, and activism.
Her appearances, journalism and public affairs work have appeared in The Washington Post, NPR, iHeartMedia, and the National Urban Radio Networks, as well as with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and the National Black Leadership Roundtable, where she worked alongside the 1963 March on Washington architect Reverend Walter Fauntroy and the late Joe Madison, “The Black Eagle.”
